RAM SAVER - DOUBLE
In keeping pace with industry demands and our own in house safety initiatives, all of Canadian Special Service's snubbing units feature the Throttle Tech ram position sensor/ram saver.
The unit is intrinsically safe, operating from hydraulic and air pressure only.
It works by deactivating the air throttles on both the rig and the snubbing unit any time the stripping rams on the snubbing unit are functioned. The unit greatly improves awareness of ram position while at the same time limiting motor rpm to an idle, unless the foot pedal by-pass is used.
